PORTUGAL Retreat
8TH - 13TH Sept 2027
a WELLNESS AND CULTURAL Eco-EXPERIENCE
About the Retreat:
Join me for 5 nights in Northern Portugal, just 50 minutes from Porto airport. We will be staying at a beautiful eco-retreat centre called Travessia do Sol, surrounded by the most serene nature. Woodlands, rivers, waterfalls, and only a short drive to the nearest beach.
I will be facilitating several classes. Some will be movement based - Mat Pilates, Yoga, Barre. Some will be stillness based - meditations, breath-work, and discovering what true, deep states of rest truly feel like.
However, this is not just a movement retreat. This will also be a chance to dive deep in to authentic Portuguese food and culture.
The retreat centre is very close to the small town of Ponte de Lima, which is the oldest town in Portugal, and the annual festival “Feiras Novas” falls on the weekend of the retreat. This is the largest live congress of popular culture in Portugal, and has just celebrated its 200th year. There will be traditional music, costumes, food, and much more.
We will have an in-house chef, and all food will be included, and lovingly created.

-
Absolutely not. Classes will be layered. Those who want more of a challenge will be offered this, those who want to stay on layer one also can. Rest is always welcomed in all my classes.
-
No, you can secure your spot now with a deposit, this also secures your spot at the current discounted price. Then full payment will be due by June 2027.
-
Again, absolutely not. Everything is completely optional. Want to have a lie in and skip the 7:30am class? Fine. Want to stay by the pool whist we venture into Ponte do Lima? Great. Want to venture out for lunch whist we dine at the centre? Good for you! This is for you. Take what you want. Leave what you don’t.
-
This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy a balance of movement, relaxation, and cultural experiences. Alongside yoga and Pilates, there will be time to unwind, enjoy the surrounding area, connect with others, and take part in experiences celebrating Portuguese culture, including a pastel de nata-making workshop.
-
I will do my best to make the classes and activities accessible and give variations where needed. However, if you have something specific, please do contact me and I can let you know if the classes or venue will be accessible for you.
-
Please bring suitable clothing, including breathable clothes to move in, shoes suitable for walks, swim wear, sun screen and anything else you want to feel comfortable during your stay. All the equipment for Yoga/Pilates will be provided (mats ect).
There is also an invitation to bring an item for the alter we will create. This is completely optional, but creates a very intentional and shared space. Could be a picture of a loved one, a cuddly toy, a crystal. Something which has meaning to you. -
Great! Retreats are great shared with a loved one, but are also an amazing chance to travel solo and meet new and like-minded people.
-
Bookings are limited to 12 people. This keeps a nice intimate feel, and ensures there is plenty of space in the venue for people to also find some alone time if they want.
